Sales Manager - Chicago, IL

The Hershey Creamery Company is a growing company, looking for a Sales Manager for our South Holland, IL
branch facility. The branch territory covers the Chicago
and NW Indiana area. Our retail customer base includes restaurants, contract feeder client accounts, college and
university facilities, snack bars, hospitals, nursing homes,
and independently owned Hershey's® Ice Cream shops.

The role of the Sales Manager in our distribution system is
to be a team leader for the sales, route delivery, telephone and customer service representatives. All aspects of
meeting monthly and annual sales objectives, controlling operating expenses (related to personnel and fleet
budgets), and maintaining control of the accounts
receivable collection efforts are the responsibility of the
Sales Manager. Personnel management is the most challenging part of the position. The Sales Manager personally handles all recruiting, interviewing, hiring and
re-staffing issues.

The Sales Manager is supported by a Regional Sales Manager and a Regional Vice President who works with
the Branch's sales team, and assists with decisions and guidance involving operational issues and personnel. Your peer group includes 25 other managers that operate facilities in 23 states. The initial training period is a dedicated twelve week period in which the manager works with the Regional Sales Manager, Regional Vice President and each person in the organization to learn the company's culture, business model, and system of operation from bottom to top.

Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of sales management experience with full responsibility for the direction of a street level sales team. This candidate should have a lot of energy and a strong desire to succeed. They should also be able to prove past successes directing a sales team. First Year Compensation based on:
Income
Base salary: paid bi weekly
Monthly sales commission: paid the last week of each month
Manager's Incentive Bonus: paid annually
Holiday bonus: paid annually in December

Estimated first year pay: $60,000 to $75,000
