Fruit Compote

Ingredients

  • 1 can pear halves
  • 1 can peach halves
  • 1 can chunk pineapple
  • 1 can Bing cherries, pitted
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 5 cloves
  • 1 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 c. dry wine or brandy
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1 quart Hershey's® Vanilla ice cream

Directions

  1. Drain fruit and save liquid.
  2. Mix liquid with wine, sugar, cinnamon and cloves
  3. Arrange fruit in baking dish. Pour liquid over fruit and add butter.
  4. Heat in 350 degree oven for 25 minutes.
  5. Serve warm over Hershey's® ice cream.
