ingredients

crust*

1

1 pack (15oz) chocolate sandwich cookies (plus extra for topping, optional)

2

1/4 cup melted butter
*You may use a pre-made chocolate cookie or pie crust if you wish

Cookies & Cream Filling

1

1 container Hershey's® Vanilla or Cookies & Cream ice cream (1.5qt)

2

12oz whipped topping

3

10oz chocolate fudge or chocolate sauce

Directions
  1. Crush chocolate sandwich cookies to a fine crumb texture (Tip: use a food processor)
  2. Mix the cookie crumbs and melted butter in a medium sized bowl until well combined
  3. Pour the cookie crumb mixture into the pie pan and pack it down so that it covers the bottom and sides of a 12” pie pan
  4. Refrigerate or freeze the crust for about 15 minutes
  5. While the crust is chilling, pull out the ice cream to soften
  6. Fill the pie with the ice cream, and carefully spread it over the cookie crust
  7. Spread chocolate fudge or chocolate sauce over ice cream (you may need to refreeze the ice cream before adding the chocolate layer if ice cream is too soft)
  8. Spread whipped cream on top of the ice cream
  9. Add crushed or whole cookies on top (optional)
  10. Freeze 2 hours before serving
